He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Neumann and Margaret Neumann (Ullmann); his stepmother Martha Neumann Leiskau; his parents-in-law, Marion and Ervin Plautz; his brothers-in-law, Larry Nethery and Jerry Plautz; and his nephew Michael Plautz.

He is survived by: his wife Liz Neumann; his children, Tara Pawleski (Paul) and Rick Neumann (Kristy) of Merrill; his grandchildren, Alex Neumann, Desi, Claudia Pawleski and Katelyn Hahn; his sisters, Lynn Zunker (Neal) and Darcy Neumann; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Nethery, Steve (Deb), Phil (Deb) and Tim Plautz (Cheri). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends.
