Carol Sczygelski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2020, at the age of 87, Carol Sczygelski of Merrill, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arba and Martha Bonebright (Pottloff); her husband Walter Sczygelski; and her sisters, Lola and Beverly.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Paulsen (Diane) of Peoria, AR., David Paulsen (Debra) of Mountain View, CA., James Paulsen (Michelle) of Irma, WI., Craig Frick (Carol) of Mary Esther, FL., Karen Zoellner of Merrill, WI., Carla Weisenfeld (Bryan) of Merrill, WI. and Corinne Harris (Mark) of Alton, IL.; her grandson Scott Paulsen (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Anara, Ceclia and Jeff Paulsen (Angela); and also, Elizabeth, William, Dale Ostrowski (Heather), Leo, Cole, Sabrina Hackney (Chris), Sonya Fisher (Eric), Easton, Stephanie Williams (Dale), Eric, Katlyn, Colton, Jason Zoellner (JD), Scarlett, Henry, Nathaniel Weisenfeld, Wyatt, Nicholas Weisenfeld, Terry Brietzke (Meagan), Rebecca Brietzke and Walter.
To comply with the current guidelines regarding COVID-19, a public drive-thru visitation for Carol will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 9am until 10am at Waid Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers or plants, family strongly encourages donations in Carol's name be directed to the American Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.
