She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Kasten and Leona A. Kasten (Bonke); her husband Kurt; her granddaughter Keana Wendt; and her daughter-in-law Charlotte Wendt.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Wendt of Medford, WI, Bruce Wendt of Merrill, WI, Kevin Wendt (Dana) of Merrill, WI and Darin Wendt (Jennifer) of Hortonville, WI.; her grandchildren, Tyler Wendt (Danielle), Bryson Wendt (Dannielle "Shorty"), Alexa Wendt and Colin Wendt; her great grandchild Koda Wendt; and her close friend Kitty Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Carol's memory be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or School or the T.B. Scott Library in Merrill because of the great love she had for her church and a good book.
