She was predeceased by: her father Charles Marie Griese. She is survived by: her husband Richard 'Dick' Simon; her children, Charles Simon (Kathy) and Jeanne Lambrecht (Randy); her children-in-law, Dawn Simon and Ben Weitzel Sr.; her grandchildren, Dustin Herzog (Katy), Michael Herzog (Mary), Chris Simon, Brian Simon, Nick Simon, Samantha Flygare (Jacob), Gretchen Talsma (Matt), Ben Weitzel Jr. (Esther) and Joe Weitzel (Stephanie); and her great grandchild Maureen.
