She was predeceased by: her daughter Sandra Rasmussen; her sisters, Alice Hess, Adeline Utech and Jeanette Drumm; her brothers-in-law, Larry Schield, Hilbert Schield, Howard Hess, Clarence Utech and Warren Drumm; her parents, Carl Neumann and Florence Neumann (Schulz); and her husband Raymond Schield.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Coates (Charles) and Greg Schield (Holly); her grandchildren, Carissa Kraucyk (Shannon), Carla Emmer (Chad), Joshua Coates, Joel Coates (Sammi-Jo), Faith Rohde (Chad), Kimberly Schield-Conradt (John), Jason Rasmussen (Alicia) and Whitney Johnson; her friend Eleanor; and her son-in-law Chuck. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and one seven-week-old great great grandchild.
