He is survived by: his mother Eldru Hinz (Hanson) of Merrill; his daughter Michele Burgener (Joedy) of Merrill; his grandchildren, Austin of Merrill, Abigail of Merrill and Autumn Burgener of Merrill; and his brothers, Byron Hinz of Merrill, Buck Hinz (Helen) of Merrill, Cal Hinz (Kathy) of Merrill, Kelley Hinz of Merrill and Vernon Hinz of Wausau.
