With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Phillip Swearingen of Mercer, Wisconsin, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Phillip Swearingen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Swearingen and Phyllis Swearingen; his siblings, Elaine Swearingen Foote and Keith Swearingen; and his son Rick DeCarlo.

He is survived by: his daughter Candee DeCarlo; his siblings, Mary Swearingen (Ken Stienke) and Darrell Swearingen (Carol); and his aunt Winona Walters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mercer High School Sports Program.
