He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Semotan; his wife Helen Suzanne; his daughter Shannon Butler (Brett); his grandchildren, Tyler Hervey, Brittney Ajalat (Michael), Samuel Hervey and Shaina Torres (David); his great grandchildren, Noah and Liam Ajalat; his stepson Joshua Hutchison (Heather Sanderson); and his siblings, Christine Williams (Larry) of Clovis, CA, Deb Pederson (Tom) of West Branch, IA, Joan Whittley (Art) of Powell Butte, OR, Diane Ketelsen (Mike) of Durant, IA, Mike (Theresa) of Durant, IA, Pat (Theresa) of Savage, MN, John (Jackie) of Moline, IL and Stephen (Sheri) of Blue Grass, IA.
