Russ' faith in the Lord and deep devotion to his wife and family were unwavering. More recently he focused primarily on caring for his wife, but still found time to pursue his love of motorcycles and his passion for supporting our military through involvement in the Patriot Guard and Legion Riders. He was honored and deeply moved by his participation in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight last fall and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for him and all the veterans on his flight. After retirement from a successful career in financial services he became more involved in his church where he served for over twenty years in various roles, including as a deacon and on the finance and stewardship teams, started a veteran/military ministry honoring those who served and are serving, and oversaw the installation of the flags on the grounds of Crossroads.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8 NIV) Visitation Tuesday, May 14, 2024 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Crossroads Presbyterian Church 6031 W. Chapel Hill Road Mequon, WI 53097 Phone: (262) 241-8085.
