Ronald Lee Miller Obituary

Ronald Lee Miller passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 76.

Ron was born on February 25, 1946, in St. Paul Minnesota. He spent most of his childhood in Bemidji Minnesota.

Ron is survived by his adoring wife of 38 years, Wanda Jean "Jeannie" (Kislia) Miller, his son Michael Lee (Stephanie) Miller, his daughter Christina Anne (Tom) Gabsa, brothers Charles (Marj) Miller and Jeff Miller, sister Pat Miller, mother-in-law Janet "Sue" Kislia, sisters-in-law Charlene Arrington, Gayle Kislia and Sheri (John) Weldy, brother-in-law Gerald (Amanda) Kislia, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Ron graduated high school in Bemidji Minnesota in 1965, then served in the U.S. Army for 10 years, with two tours in Vietnam. After the service, he worked for several companies maintaining computer mainframes and production printers, finishing up with working for IBM for the last 15 years before his retirement.

Anyone who had ever met Ron knew that he was very proud of his service to our country. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Milwaukee Chapter 44, Milwaukee Wisconsin, and the American Legion Post 457, Thiensville Wisconsin.

Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, model trains, model airplanes, electronics, astronomy and losing money at casinos. He was also a keen collector of the finest in flashlights, watches, socket sets, power tools and grade B movies.

Ron was known for having very strong opinions and dropping lots of f-bombs, but also for being very generous. He would gladly give away any of his possessions in which you showed interest, and likewise he would offer up his wife's possessions (much to her chagrin).

Ron was preceded in death by his father Lowell "Loki" Miller, mother Donna Beardsley, brother Michael "Mitch" Miller, brother Jerry Miller, and half-brother Randy Lassek.
