He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hoffman Peterson; his children, Cynthia Apfelbach, Bruce Peterson (Ruth), Carolyn Butler (Brian), Scott Peterson and Diane Stegeman (David); and his grandchildren, George, Kent, Carolyn, Margot, Brian Patrick, Jack, Steven, William, Cal, Margaret, Robbie, Kara and Emmaline. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
