Patricia Ann Casey Obituary
Born October 13, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025 at the age of 86.
Cherished wife of 61 years of the late Michael Patrick Casey. Proud mother of Erin (Mark) O'Keefe, Mary (the late Christopher) Schelble, Kevin (Krista) Casey, and Thomas (Kameran) Casey. She was lovingly known as "Mimi" to her 10 grandchildren, Tim (Natalie), Kenan (Jen) and Katie O'Keefe; Casey (Jen), Thomas (Caroline), Grace (Will) and George Schelble; Sam, Jake and Zach Casey, and 6 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Cornelius C. Shields. Further survived by many relatives and dear friends.
Patsy attended Holy Cross Grade School in Milwaukee, Holy Angels Academy, and graduated from Marquette University with a BA degree in English & Education.
In her earlier years Patsy taught CCD at St. Robert's, volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital and was a member of the North Shore Junior Women's Club and the Association of Marquette University Women. Along with Mike, they also were presidents of the Home and School Association at St. James Mequon.
Patsy had a beautiful singing voice. She was a member of the Bel Canto Chorus Milwaukee and often sang for weddings, retreats and conferences. She had written music and recorded a praise/worship album. She was employed as a worship leader for three different churches in the Milwaukee area. Patsy was active in Christian Renewal and Healing Ministry in the United States, Canada and Europe.
A devoted Christian, she was passionate about serving in the church through prayer ministry, worship and music, and helping others around her.
We will dearly miss Mimi's contagious laugh, clever wit and sense of humor, her love of sweets, popcorn parties, pink lipstick, funny faces and her sweet winks to let us know she was ok.
The family would like to express sincere thanks to Newcastle Place, Horizon's Lawlis Family Hospice and the entire hospice team for their compassionate care of Patsy.
