She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Gimbel; her father Charles Swidler (Helen); and her sister Muriel Swidler. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gimbel (Kathryn), Barry Gimbel (Lesley) and Dana Gimbel; her grandchildren, Jared, Hannah, Leah, Jonah (Nechie), Justin Evan, Brandon (Devon) and Harrison (Priya); and her great grandchildren, Avi and Zahava. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
