Joe was known for being very "enthusiastic" with an infectious smile and contagious laugh and never missing an opportunity to celebrate loved ones with an early-morning Happy Birthday song. He was extremely dedicated and proud of his family, faith and friendships. His dedication was unsurpassed and evident by the many events; sporting, musical, etc. that he attended no matter how far he had to travel for children, grandchildren or students. He was also the spectator who "supported" the loudest.
Joe taught by example and gave unselfishly from his heart of his time and talents whether as a loving spouse, inspirational Father or teacher, or as related to his love of music, the arts, sports, custard, mixology, Wordle or Jeopardy; you got the Best of the Best from Joe.
