He is survived by: his wife Valerie K. (Nee Tews); his children, Laura Fitzgerald (Patrick), Anna Lavold (Mark) and Steven Hackbarth (Anna); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Eli, Liam, Owen, Gabriel, Samuel, Michael, Lillybelle, Philip, Josiah and Micah; and his sister Diane Stalbaum (Ron). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
