Estelle Anne King Obituary
Estelle A. King (nee Spence) passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 at the age 94 years. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born Feb.12, 1930 in Shorewood Wisconsin to James and Catherine Spence. She attended St. Robert's school and Shorewood High School.
She is predeceased by sisters Marion, Joan, Nancy and Catherine.
She was married for 72 years to her beloved late husband James.
She was blessed by the love of her eight children: Cathy, Kevin (Pat), Joseph (the late Judy), Julie, James Jr., Patricia (David) Bowen, Bridget (Dan Abendroth), Megan (Rich) McCormick.
Adding joy and love to her life were her 22 grandchildren: Sean, Kevin, (the late Amy King), Michael, Carolyn, John, Farley, Shannon, Maura, Casey, Gabriel, Betsy, Charlie, Monica, Madeline, Maggie, Mollie, Grace, Liam, Connor, Finnian and Annie.
In addition, Estelle had ten great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.
She was a devout Catholic. God and faith were the foundation of her life. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
The King family is deeply grateful to Barb Manz for her dedicated care of our mother and also to Lisa from Horizon Hospice.
Visitation on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mequon from 5:00-7:00pm, 10280 N. Port Washington Rd.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25th at 12:00pm, at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 W. Mequon Road, followed by a reception in the church hall.
