He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Schuler and Agnes Schuler; and his brothers, Milford, Clifford and Delton Jules Schuler.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schuler; his son Randy Schuler; his grandsons, Delton James Schuler and Charles Randall Schuler; his daughter-in-law Mary; and his siblings, James Schuler (Betty) and Mary Lou Ritger (Eugene). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
