Adele Marilyn Mahler Obituary
Adele Marilyn Mahler, born on March 10, 1934, in New York City, NY, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 90, in Mequon, WI.
Adele was the beloved daughter of Benjamin and May Jacewitz. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Byron Claude Goodman II and Walter J. Mahler, and by her siblings: Amelia (Frank) Verito, Wanda (Kenneth) Ferdin, and Chester (Regina) Jacewitz.
A woman who lived life on her own terms, Adele was known for her quick wit, her love for conversation, and her ability to brighten any room with her humor. She was a joker who always had a story to tell, and her infectious personality will be missed by all who knew her.
Adele's family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving children: Steven (Mary) Goodman, Marilyn (Robert) Kebbekus and Nancy (Daniel) Roth, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Robert Kebbekus, Kathleen (Jeffery) Brand, Kristen (Liam) Bates, Jacqueline (Garrett) Walvoort, Steven Goodman II, and Emily (Matthew) Alford. Adele was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Brynlee Alford, who brought her immense joy.
Adele often said, "I am very lucky, most women don't have a good husband, I've had two," a testament to her deep gratitude and appreciation for love in her life.
In keeping with her wishes, private family services will be held. Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Adele's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will remain in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed.
