It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgene R. Havlik of Menomonie, Wisconsin, born in Durand, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin and Hannah Achenbach (Falkner); her husband Bill Havlik; and her siblings, Patrick Achenbach and Rometta Hock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Hanke (Edd) of Menomonie, Beth Ernst (Jim) of Burnsville, MN, Lynn Batten (Charlie) of Camp Douglas and Jill Wolterstorff (Todd) of Londonderry, OH; her grandchildren, Amanda Grover (Dustin), Lauren Hanke, Matthew, Chuck Ernst and William Batten (Keziah); and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Hanke, Rowan Grover, Finnegan, Seamus Ernst, Stephen and Violet Batten. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
