With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Nelson in Menomonie, Wisconsin, born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Nelson and Helen Nelson (Sickora); his siblings, Vernetta Clements, Bruce, Howard and Samuel Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Junior Rubenzer, Scott Kempe and Terry Ojibway.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Rubenzer of Colfax; his sons, Jeremy Nelson (Jamie) of Bloomer and Jordan Nelson of Bloomer; his stepsons, Josh Rufledt (Kim) of Bloomer and Jason Rufledt of Bloomer; his siblings, Yvonne Rubenzer, Crystal Jasper (Chuck), Rosalie Berg (Rick), Mary Ojibway, Matthew Nelson and David Nelson (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Trevor Rufledt, Ryleah Nelson, River Nelson, Claire Rufledt and Everly Rufledt.
