He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sol and Angeline Sol (Kadinger); his son David K Sol; and his siblings, Robert Sol and Mary Ida Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria R. Pickerign of Henry's Catholic Church; his children, Jeff Sol (Diane) of Menomonie, Cindy Hansen (Neil) of Menomonie, Shari Jakes (Eugene) of Ellsworth and Debbie Hintzman (Todd) of Menomonie; and his daughter-in-law Patty Sol of Elk Mound. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rhiel Funeral Home (2317 Schneider Ave SE, Menomonie, WI 54751). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (910 Wilson Ave, Menomonie, WI 54751).
