It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn L. Merkel (Menomonie, Wisconsin), born in Cudahy, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Misun and Matilda Misun (Matzke). She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Erin Shermak (Joseph) of Elk River, MN and Jesse Merkel (Mollie) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Carter, Bennett, Milo, Elizabeth, Fletcher and Hazel; and her siblings, Sue Walden (John Shirey) of Mequon, WI and Charles Misun (Kathleen) of Menasha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
