He was predeceased by: his parents, John Janecke and Rita Janecke (Duffy); his sister Patricia Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Tom Sherman, David Porter and Ron Crew; and his niece Kimberly Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Rommelmeyer; his children, Richard Janecke and Jennifer Collette (Adam); his grandsons, Noah and Logan Collette; his sisters, Barbara Sherman and Jeri Porter; and his brother-in-law Michael Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
