She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leo Lutzen; her sister Rita Trask (late John); her children, Mark Kern (Donna), Vicki Kern, Norma Kern, Cherie Kern (Richard), Tammie Kern, Peggy Slind (late John), Silas Kern (Brenda) and Tim Kern (Karen); her grandchildren, Jessica Slind (Bill), Katie Kern, Jeremy Slind, Tracy Kern, Brandon Kern and Alyssa Kern; her great grandchildren, Luke, Logan, Levi, Ivy, Andrew, Carter and Austin; and her friends, Dick and Joanne Kadinger.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
