He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Garey and Mary Garey (Harding); and his siblings, Mark Garey, Kathleen Carroll and Alice Hoium.
He is survived by: his close friends, Brian, Craig, Jane and Fred; his siblings, Charles Garey of Liberty, Missouri, John Garey of Janesville, Wisconsin and Elizabeth Fehr (Randall) of Janesville Wisconsin; and his stepdaughters, Sadie Polttila and Sarah Brown. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
