It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy R. Stanton of Menomonie, Wisconsin, born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Stranen and Louise Stranen; her husband Robert Stanton (Bob); and her children, Jennifer Mary and Robert Stanton (Bobby).
She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Jill) of Menomonie, Jeff Stanton (Kathy) of Menomonie, Debbi Delander (Gary) of Fulsheer, TX, Cynth Warner (Bill) of Menomonie and Tricia Turner (Brad) of Spring Valley, WI; her daughter-in-law Sandra Stanton of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Dawn Wurst, Jennifer Daniel, Heidi Hoilien, Damian Stanton, Jessica Wald, Brady Delander, Heather Clementi, Jeff, Laura Warner, Adam, Lucas, Cody Stanton, Josh, Brian Turner and Jamie Galgowski; her great grandchildren, Emily, Eric Wurst, Marin, John, Andrew Daniel, Caleb, Elliott, Jesse, Maya Hoilien, Zaliana, Kaverick, Huxley Stanton, Jamison, Delaney Wald, Christian, Brody Clementi, Mila Rud, Jack, Charlie Warner, Sloan Stanton, Brayden, Parker Turner, Harper, Raina, Amira Turner, McKenzie and Tatum Galgowski; her sister-in-law Marianne Stanton; and her sisters, Millie Buttles and Florence Dinger.
Due to covid 19, the family will be having a private family service at Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie and burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, with hopes to have a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy loved animals, so any memorials can be made to the Dunn County Humane Society.
