She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kirkland and Julia "Nellie" Kirkland (Hohlbein); and her siblings, Harlan Kirkland and Avis Scholfield. She is survived by: her sister Janet Zitelman of Menomonie; and her nieces and nephews, Dawn O'Brien (Mark) of Centreville, VA, Jim Scholfield Jr. of Menomonie, Susan Kunz (Mark) of Galesville, Brian Zitelman (Pamela) of La Crosse and Bruce Zitelman (Mindy Swanson) of Machesney Park, IL. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Doris' name to the Menomonie United Methodist Church.
