William G. Zoulek of Menomonee Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the age of 88 years.
Bill was born on July 14 1936 in Aurora WI to George and Hazel Zoulek. His family moved to Milwaukee in 1952 where he attended St. John's Cathedral High School. It was then that he met Patricia Leverance and they were united in marriage on May 18, 1957. Bill served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard and entered the Plumbing and Heating Contractor's Apprenticeship program. After receiving his Journeyman and Master Plumber's license, he started Mid City Plumbing and Heating along with his twin brother Bob. Together they ran their business until his full retirement in 1998 when he passed it on to Bob and his sons. Bill was an avid golfer and hunter and enjoyed a good card game. He was especially talented in his ability to repair or build most anything and he used his gift to help his family, friends, neighbors, parishes and other community organizations. He served on various committees at St. Pius X and St. Mary's Parish, as president of the Wisconsin Plumbing and Heating Contractor's Association and Chairperson of the Patrick Lake District for over 30 years. If someone was in need, Bill was always there to help. He was a devoted husband of 67 years, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather-to-be and a man of deep faith. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his parents, one brother and four sisters, his sister-in-law Mary Ann Zoulek, and his brother-in-law Dennis Redman. Bill is survived by his children, Steven of Grand Marsh, WI, Sue (Steve) Thompson of Grand Marsh WI and Julie Hiemer of Menomonee Falls. Dear grandfather of Erika, Amanda (Troy) Bittenbender and Andrew. Dear brother of Robert, and sister-in-law of Diane Redman.
