Passed away peacefully with family surrounding him on Tuesday, May 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Jean (Fox) for 60 years. Loving father of Lisa (Dan) Mertens and Dan (Toni) Gillette. Cherished grandfather of Cody (Allison) Mertens and Chad Mertens. Proud great-grandfather of Isabel, Nora and Warren Mertens. Dear brother of Janis (Jim) Dallmann. Brother-in-law of James (Diane) Fox. Further survived by nieces Cyndi, Amy, Michelle, Sherry other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 6 from 4PM until 7PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Menomonee Falls; N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave. Bill will be privately laid to rest at Wanderers Rest Cemetery in Gillett, WI.
