Walter H. Toryfter Obituary
LISBON – Walter Henry Toryfter, age 72, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Walter was born in Poland on May 15, 1950, to Walter and Marta Toryfter. Before retirement, Walter owned and managed rental properties after having worked as a bin floor operator at the Continental Grain Company – grain elevator on Jones Island.
Walter loved motorcycles, fishing, nature, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Walter's sense of humor, generosity and love for his family knew no bounds. His thoughtfulness, endless opinions and catch-phrases will be greatly missed. He could fix anything and felt so much pride to help anyone who needed it. Walter enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with minibikes, go-karts, air rifles and bonfires. He loved his music, especially playing the accordion and keyboard, in his free time in Lisbon, with the love of his life, wife Christine of 50 years.
Walter is survived by his wife Christine, sons Daniel, Michael (Melissa), and Joseph (Kristin); grandsons Conner, Colin, Dylan, Shane, Gavin and Colton; granddaughters Estella and Addison; siblings Barbara Sienuta, Alice Stafisz; extended family locally Ted (Cindy) Niksa family, Miroslaw (Anna) Swiercz family, and all family in California, Florida, Illinois and Poland.
Visitation Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave in Menomonee Falls from 11AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1PM.
