Shirley Ann Mann Pewaukee Wisconsin age 91, formerly of Menomonee Falls Wisconsin, born to eternal life June 14, 2023, at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin after a 2-year struggle with cancer. Visitation will be held June 21, 2023 at the St. James Catholic Church, Sussex, Wisconsin from 10 AM to 12 noon, followed by a service at 12pm, with Father Carmelo Giuffre officiating. Private Burial Service to be at Saint Killian's Cemetery June 22. Shirley was born in Hartford Wisconsin January 1, 1932 to Emil and Clara Semler of Hartford.
Wisconsin. She married William Mann October 14, 1950. She was preceded in death by. Her husband and parents and son-in-law. Shirley is survived by her six children, Julie (Tim) Nigbur, Michael (Lee Ann) Mann, Lori Giuffre, Steven Mann, Robert (Sharon) Mann and William (Kathleen) Mann, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren (baby girl due in July), her brothers James (Germaine) and Richard (Sandy) Semler, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Shirley devoted her life to caring for and nurturing her family and extended family.
She will be remembered for her unwavering concern and guidance for each friend and family member. She loved the outdoors, the lakes of Wisconsin and Oceans of Florida. An avid fisherwoman and sailor, she was ready for all of it. Shirley, as her mother before her, filled each day with plans of accomplishments, like her father embodied togetherness with family and friends. She was always close to all, as she interacted daily through Facebook and Facetime. She never missed an occasion to download her treasured pictures from all.
She archived dozens of photos albums as we watched. Her purse was always in reach ready to attend the next birthday party or gathering. Rest now our sweet loving mother. The family would like to recognize and express with fondness, the deepest appreciation for the exceptional care and love given to Shirley by the doctors and nurses on the 8th floor of the Center For Advanced Care, Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa. They are special people, both of medical skill and devotion to compassion.
