Sandra A. Schultz Obituary

Sandra A Schultz passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at home Monday, July 1 at the tender age of 61, after a long battle with Ovarian Cancer. She split time between Brookfield, WI and Palm Harbor FL. All those that knew her were truly blessed. She was an incredible woman. Kind, caring, positive and inspirational are words people use to describe her. Her husband would add, very good looking. Sandra had an incredible drive to make every day great, and the world a better place. She played an active role within her community and always advocated for what was right.

She felt strongly about family strength and focused much of her work on parental education on topics such as drug use and prevention, teen mental health and student stress. Her more notable volunteer positions were with Parent Network and Waukesha County Drug Free Communities where she devoted much time, passion, and heart. One of her biggest accomplishments through these organizations was organizing a prescription drug collection for community members to be able to safely dispose of their medication, and to keep it out of the hands of children.

This event was an incredible success thanks to Sandra's hard work, dedication, and passion. Undeniably Sandra's greatest passion was her family. She was an incredible mom present for every possible sporting event, ceremony, and performance. She led by example and raised her children to be kind, compassionate, dedicated, and generous. Sandra was so proud of her kids. Becoming a grandma was one of the highlights of her life. Her grandchildren brought her much joy. Sandra is preceded in death by her mother and father, Deanna and Robert Klokner.

She is survived by her loving husband, James; sister Patti (Mark) Henry; Brother, Vince (Lisa) Klokner; in laws Joan and Neil Risler, Mike and Maggie Tate; children: Zach (Kimber) Schultz, Abby (Seba) Varela, Greta (Dominic) Meincke, and Hannah (Jason) D'Amico; her five beloved grandchildren: Lucy, Henry, Teddy, Charlie, and Camila; as well as many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Cancer Center at Froedtert, her GYN-ONC and IR teams. A shoutout to her friends at North Hills Country Club and Innisbrook.

If you knew her, you loved her. Stay positive, be healthy, and laugh often. Gathering to be held at Schmidt Bartelt Funeral home, Menomonee Falls, Tue July 9th at 1-3pm, service to follow.
