Robert M. Schluga Obituary

Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Age 91.

Beloved husband for 68 years of Marylin (nee Umbreit). Dear father of Vic, Lisa and Robb. Loving grandfather of Nick Schluga and Jade Race. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Marie Schluga; and his sisters, Barbara Turgo and Rosemarie Peters.

Bob was born January 11, 1934 in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired as a Union Journeyman Plumber represented by Union Local #75. Bob and Marylin were married on February 16, 1957 and remained the love of each other's lives up until the very end. They raised their family in Wauwatosa and moved to Fredonia in their later years. Bob and Marylin were always present at the sporting events of Vic, Lisa and Robb all the way from their childhood to adult softball games as recently as 2024. Bob had a variety of interests including but not limited to bowling, archery and hunting. Above all, his family was first and foremost to him. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
