Robert A. Parteka In loving memory of our father and friend who found eternal life June 10, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved son of the late Albert and late Anna (Caspersen) Parteka. Dear husband of the late Linda (nee Haataja), cherished father of Lisa (Greg) Harris, Robert, Jr., and Laura (Grossklag). Loving brother of the late Katherine (Huerb, Jr.), late Irma (Michael J., Sr.), late Mary Ann, and Raymond Parteka. Robert is survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Robert was born on May 14, 1937, and raised in Milwaukee. Upon graduating from Rufus King High School, he proudly served in Alaska with the United States Air Force. Robert worked for Milwaukee County as an architectural draftsman and later retired as the maintenance superintendent at General Mitchell International Airport. He was an avid fisherman, musician, and philanthropist who enjoyed crossword puzzles, competitive trivia, Packers and Badgers football, Brewers baseball, auto racing, and many other activities.
His wisdom and kind heart were an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers or charitable donations, family and close friends will soon be sent an invitation to a celebration of Robert's life to be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, 06/23/24.
