Margie M. Sommer Obituary
Nee Kassenborg) Born April 5, 1934 and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 11, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ludwig Sommer, daughter Barbara Kruschka (Sommer), her parents Elner and Rachel (Jacobson) Kassenborg and sister Betty Buege. Loving mother to Kevin (Julieanne) Sommer, Deborah (German) Fiscal, Jacqueline (Salvatore) Bellante, Marcia Landowski, 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Margie met her loving husband at a dance in Fargo, ND, in 1951 when he couldn't speak any English. They married August 19, 1956; moved to Milwaukee, had 5 children and made a home filled with love and the rest is history. Margie was such a caring, giving, kind and compassionate person. She made everyone feel loved and welcome and all who knew her, loved her. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4PM until the time of Funeral Service at 7PM at the Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
