Leo R. Lubiejewski Obituary
Born to Eternal Life on September 19, 2023, at the age of 87 years old. Loving father of Lynn (Brad) Williams, Lori (Jeff) Heisdorf and Tracy (Jeff) Lemieux. Proud grandfather of Jimmy (Gabs) and Katie Kolz, Marlee and Macy Williams, Hannah and Joshua Heisdorf, and Jordan and Maddie Lemieux. Dear brother of Evelyn Winefeld. Dear brother-in-law of Jerry (Nancy) Flood, Jim (Cathie) Flood, Mike (Pauline) Flood and Bob Flood. Further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Kathy. Leo had a quick wit and sense of humor which will not be forgotten. Although he had many, one of his favorite phrases was, "See ya around like a donut.". Leo was attentive to detail and took great pride in all he did. His immaculate landscape, clean cars, and organized home are all testaments to his dedication to keeping things orderly.
Leo was a faithful member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls through which he served food at St. Ben's meal program in Milwaukee. He was an avid sports fan, especially enthusiastic for the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially during the holidays and on Packers' Sundays. Leo adored his wife, Kathy, who preceded him in death by only five weeks. One way that they enjoyed their life together was by visiting Orange Beach, Alabama, yearly as "snowbirds.". Leo proudly served in the United States Army and was a devoted and hardworking employee in the banking industry for over 30 years.
Leo will be dearly missed by all who knew him and, again, in his own words, "See ya around like a donut.". Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave in Menomonee Falls from 9:30AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11AM. Final resting place, Saint Mary's Cemetery.
