Joseph B. Gvora Obituary
Joseph Gvora left us for the loving arms of Jesus Christ with family at his side at age 91. Joe died on August 13, 2022 in time to be with his beloved wife of 63 years, Maxine, on the anniversary of their marriage. He is also together again with his daughter and best friend, Anne Emmons. Joe is survived by his daughter Mary Riemer, son Tom Gvora (Ellen), son in law Del Emmons (Melanie), grandchildren Melissa Barbour, Logan and Taylor Riemer, and Joe, Ed and Esther Gvora. He is further survived by great grandchildren Alexa, Hailey and Grayson Barbour and Lucy Gvora.
Joe was born to Vincent and Veronica Gvora October 1, 1930 in Superior WI. He proudly served 2 years stationed in Italy in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the service he moved to Milwaukee WI where he worked in brewery sales for Blatz, Pabst and finishing his career as the Milwaukee sales manager for G. Heileman Brewing Co.
Joe was known by all who met him as friendly and outgoing. He spent his final years living happily at San Camillo where he made many friends among the residents and staff.
In lieu of flowers donations can be offered in Joe's memory to the St. Camillus Foundation.
