Jerome G. Langkau Obituary

Of Menomonee Falls, surrounded by family, died on Wednesday, February 08, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Jerry was born in Milwaukee on May 30, 1946, a son of Gilbert and Madeline Langkau. He was a hardworking man and was employed as a machinist for Briggs & Stratton for many years. He married Barbara Zatopek on July 1, 1972. Together, they raised four children. Jerry was known as a selfless and humble man, who would never want to inconvenience anyone. He was also, kindhearted, and always there to lend a helping hand to others. Hunting, camping, road tripping and simply being outdoors were activities Jerry enjoyed. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his wife, Barbara Langkau; children, Anthony Langkau, Christine (Timothy Pocius) Langkau, Kathryn (Jacob) Peters, and Mary (Jonathan Dolan) Langkau; grandchildren, Baxter, Madeline, Augustus, Jerome, Louise, and Vincent; siblings, Carol Valla and Robert (Joanne) Langkau. Jerry is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister LuAnn.

The visitation for Jerry will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 1:30PM until the 3:00PM Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
