Jerome C. Schwister Obituary

Jerome C. "Jerry" Schwister, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 89.

Jerry was a devoted husband to Carol (Keeler) for 68 years, he is survived by his children, Claire (Grady) Nelson, Jay (Sara) Schwister, Cara (Jim) Richardson, and Cindy (Greg) Sviatoslavsky and proud grandfather to six grandchildren Olivia, Conrad, Lydia, Elena, Katharine and William along with great grandchildren Smith and Vivian.

Jerry was born in Menomonee Falls (Fussville), Wisconsin in 1935, the oldest of thirteen children. Along with being a dedicated husband and father, he was an accomplished golfer having won many competitions, his most recent being Senior Champion at Lac La Belle Golf Club in 1995. Jerry was also very proud of his 38 years of service at Allen-Bradley where he retired as a Senior Purchasing Manager.

Preceding Jerry in death are his parents Alvin and Florence (Fuss) Schwister and six sisters and brothers.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM on Thursday, February 20th, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave.). In accordance with Jerry's wishes, a private service will be held.

Jerry wanted to share the opportunities that golf provided him in his life to others, so the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to First Tee – Southeast Wisconsin (or a charity of your choice) in lieu of flowers. The family would also like to thank the staff at Courtyard at Sussex and Home Instead for their wonderful care.
