He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sandra; his children, Jessica May (Tom) and Chad Nowak; his grandchildren, Ben, Eddie, Elise, Celia, Landon, Mason and Ashylynn; his parents, Edward Nowak and Myrtle Nowak; his siblings, James Nowak (Lynn), Jeffrey Nowak (Linda), Jennifer Loehrke (John) and Greg Nowak (Robin); and his siblings-in-law, Ken Bemowski, Diane Johnson (Bob), Bonnie Anacker (Steve), Sue Hytry and Julie Keen. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
