Of Menomonee Falls. Age 86. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1936 in Oconomowoc, WI to James and Mabel Darrow.

Dear father of James (Joan) Darrow, Thomas (Kathy) Darrow and stepfather to Linda Maier. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife Deanna "Kitty" Darrow.

James loved traveling and cutting his and his neighbors' lawns. He worked at the Oilgear Company, and was a member of the Sussex Fire Department before moving to Menomonee Falls.

“I will miss Cousin Jim and his wonderful laughter so much. We loved his frequent visits to California to be with us. We taught him the silly domino game of Chicken Foot and we would play it for hours when he visited. Before you knew it, the pot of coffee was gone, and then it was time for dinner! I wish our families got together while we were growing up instead of only really knowing Jim the past 15-20 years or so. He will be solely missed.”
