Jack Chambers Obituary
Of Menomonee Falls.
On Friday, December 16th, John Jr. "Jack" Chambers, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 61 years old. Born to John Sr. and Virginia Chambers, he is survived by his sisters, Judy (the late Scott) Chambers, Nancy Chambers, Debbie (Mark) Gettelman and Bonnie (Mike) Krawczyk as well as his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father John Sr. and brother Mark.
Jack worked at the Germantown postal office for his career as a postal carrier. It is here where he formed many of the friendships he held close to him throughout his years. He lived his entire life on the family farm putting the work into it so that it could be the cherished place it is to his family. He loved the animals on it as well and this was obvious by the way he named and cared for each cat that showed up there. The farm held many memorable family and friend get-togethers with Jack always in charge of the grill!
He enjoyed many hobbies including restoring tractors and cars. He was known to exhibit many of them in local parades and shows. Jack had a knack of knowing exactly how to fix just about anything whether it be a simple piece of machinery or a whole electrical set up, no matter how long it took him, he could always figure out a way to make it work.
Some of his most memorable times were trips with friends whether it was taking a Harley out west to see the mountains or hitting up the snowmobile tracks up north. He always appreciated the views and adventures.
Jack loved life and everyone in it. He could light up a room with his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged whether he had known you for years or just met you. He would go out of his way to help someone, no matter how busy he was. His favorite moments always involved family and friends, to him there was no better place to be. His legacy will live on in those that knew him as the kindness and compassion he passed on to them will forever be shared with others. The world is a whole lot brighter having had such a spirit in it. He will be forever missed.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Memorials directed to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Cancer Center are appreciated.
