Helmut J. Kopp Obituary
Kopp, Helmut Josef Passed away on September 27, 2024 at the age of 78. His battle with medical challenges over the years showed his courage, humor, positivity, and strength. Helmut is survived by his loving and caring wife Adeline (nee Frank). They shared 26 wonderful years together making memories through their large, extended families and friends that are near and far; travel, and their love of entertaining. Helmut shared the beginning of his journey with Erna (nee Novak). They shared a passion for their heritage and cooking together.
Helmut was privileged to have a large, extended family through siblings, step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He took great pride in each and every relationship. He truly appreciated all of his friendships and considered his friends his family. Helmut will leave us with his legacy and pride in his German heritage, love for good food (especially a pot roast and dumplings), a cold German beer, and his knack to sneak in chocolate and cookies.
A visitation will be held Saturday October 12, 2024 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 10am until time of memorial service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aurora Health Care Foundation (https://secure.aahgiving.org), Dept 7738074, P.O. Box 806163, Chicago, IL 60680 (Zilber Hospice) – who guided Helmut's journey to be one of respect, peace and honor- would be greatly appreciated.
