Gary W. Engel Obituary
Found Peace in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 31, 2022, age 68.
Preceded in death by his parents, Viola R. (nee Schultz), Lawrence C. Engel and his sister, Diana L. Engel; and his four-legged fur baby, he tenderly cared for and treasured, his cat Noel.
Also survived by Ray Hrovat and his children, Rebecca, Michael, and Gary's Godson, Ryan (Kristin) Hrovat; friends, Dawn, Brittany, Chris, Karen, Anne and many more.
Gary worked for 32 years for The North Shore Water Commission before retiring.
Gary had a passion for fishing, working out and volunteering at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. He also had a kind and generous heart that he shared with so many families and friends. He had such a contagious laugh; it was hard not to join in!
The visitation for Gary will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home (see address below) from 4PM until the time of the memorial service at 5PM. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the charity of your choice.
