Frank DeGeorge Obituary

Frank Robert DeGeorge, age 92, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born January 10, 1932. Son of George and Betty (nee Gagliano) DeGeorge. Frank was preceded in death by his brother Carl (Arleen) DeGeorge.

Frank married Jane (nee Kohl) on July 19, 1952. He was a devoted husband and loved Jane for 72 years. Proud father to Gail DeGeorge, Gary (Barb) DeGeorge, R. Steven (Suzanne) DeGeorge, David (Elizabeth) DeGeorge, and Michael (Megan) DeGeorge. He adored his grandchildren Kristi (Bradley) Johnson, Lindsey (Sergio) Medina, Kalie DeGeorge, William DeGeorge, Kathleen (Thomas) Harden, Thomas (Molly) DeGeorge, Tommy DeGeorge, Nicole DeGeorge, Bennett DeGeorge, and Jack DeGeorge. Loved by his great-grandchildren Lilly, Brady, Lexi, Avery, Enzo, Thomas, and Henry.

Frank was a graduate of Custer High School, class of 1950. He then served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Frank was employed by National Food Stores where he ascended to manage the state of Wisconsin. He then started DeGeorge & Holmer Food Brokerage, which became a successful business. Frank was a committed parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church for over 60 years. Frank was an avid golfer, member of West Bend Country Club for over 30 years, loved to play cards, and enjoyed square dancing. Frank showed compassion for all, he was loved, and will be missed.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, from 4-6 pm at Schmidt & Bartelt - Menomonee Falls (N84W17937 Menomonee Ave.). A reception will follow at the Florian (N111W18611 Mequon Rd. Germantown). A Mass celebrating Frank's Life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 1pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church (N74W13604 Appleton Ave. Menomonee Falls). Private entombment on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
