Elaine G. Weiland Obituary
Of Menomonee Falls, went home to the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 90 years. Elaine was born on June 24, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Esther Alonso. She married the love of her life, Donald J. Weiland, on June 24, 1951. Together, hand in hand, they started Weiland Drywall. Elaine was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandkids. Elaine was an avid Packer fan. Over the years she enjoyed traveling visiting places like Germany, Austria, and the South Pacific. Her favorite venture was to Maui where for over 42 years she spent the winter months. She was a longtime active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. The memories of Elaine will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Elaine will be dearly missed by her husband of 73 years, Donald J. Weiland; children, Donald "Rick" (Cindy) Weiland, Tom (Sue) Weiland and Jean Weiland; twelve grandkids, twenty-three great-grandkids, and three great-great grandkids; stepbrother, Robert Turek; and stepsister Bonnie (Gilbert) Towers and her dearest dog, Molly. Elaine is further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Jim, daughter-in-law, Sue, parents, brother, Jack Alonso and grandson, Dan Weiland.
The visitation for Elaine will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 20851 W. Main St. in Lannon from 11AM until the time of the funeral service at 1PM. The burial will immediately follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.
