Donna Mae Zimmerman Obituary

Donna Mae Zimmerman (86), died on January 21st 2024, after battling heart failure. Donna was born on March 15 1937 to Dave and Ruby Kazmercheck.

Donna met the love of her life, Robert Zimmerman, during childhood, and later married in 1956. They had 2 boys, Dean and Jay. Giant springs farm, Donna's family farm, established in 1877, was what they called home. Donna loved history, and was a charter member, and treasurer for the Sussex/Lisbon Historical Society. She was the Lisbon assessor for many years, and took great pride in her work. Horses were a huge part of her life, and she not only rode on her farm, but was also a member of the Menomonee Falls Saddle Club.

Donna is preceded in death by husband Robert Zimmerman, both sons, Dean and Jay, in 1974, and father and mother David and Ruby Kazmercheck. She is survived by her beloved four legged companions, her dogs, Wicket and Sterling.

Donna is loved and will be greatly missed.

A private celebration of Donna's life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
