Ashtyn S. Fellenz Obituary
Fellenz, Ashtyn Sierra Age 24, Menomonee Falls WI, passed away on December 5, 2024. Ashtyn was born on June 15th, 2000, to her parents Scott and Arlo. She had one older sister, Alexis. She was diagnosed before her first birthday with a disease called Canavan that affected her development and limited her ability to function. Despite her disabilities she lived a joyful life. She enjoyed getting dressed up, especially in pink. Her other passions included hand over hand crafts, listening to Taylor Swift music and spending time with animals. Her favorite of all was spending time with horses and letting them eat carrots out of her hand. She has made a lasting impact in the world with Ashtyn's Hope Canavan Ministry, a nonprofit organization that helps other Canavan children worldwide to get access to medical supplies and medical care. Ashtyn fought gallantly for 24 years. She was a pioneer on the cutting edge of medical science helping researchers discover a cure. Hopefully, this will help other children similarly effected. She was a hero.
She is survived by her loving parents and sister, as well as many other friends and family.
