Alice Weaver Obituary
Alice Weaver (aka Granny) of Menomonee Falls passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Alice was born in Watertown, WI on September 22, 1936, the daughter of Benjamin and Erna Seefeldt.
Married to John T. Weaver on July 8, 1961.
Alice cherished family, especially holiday gatherings and started many fun-filled traditions including the 4th of July barbeque and Christmas Eve tenderloins. Granny was a character and her hilarious "grannyisms" will live on for a long time.
Alice is survived by her daughters Wendy (Andy) Mohrfeld and Allison (Rob) Adair; grandchildren Alyssa (Blake) Jenkins, Hailey Mohrfeld (fiancé Austin), Claire Mohrfeld (fiancé Eric), RJ Adair, Alex Adair, and Ryan Adair; great-grandchildren Reagan, Willa and Camden Jenkins.
Further survived by her many good friends, especially Dinner Club buddies and long-time card-playing pals.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband John, siblings Dorothy (Arvon) Kuehl, Ruth (Henry) Lehmann, Shirley (Walt) Voegeli and Leon Seefeldt.
Visitation for Alice will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, W196 N9525 Cross View Way, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051 from 10 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 Noon.
Family offers heartfelt thanks to the Arboretum, the 4th floor staff at Froedtert Menomonee falls Hospital and Horizon Hospice for their loving care of Alice.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry or the American Cancer Society in memory of Alice.
