It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William G. Schmitz (Menasha, Wisconsin), born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schmitz and Martha Schmitz; his sister Geraldine Voracek; and his mother-in-law Freda Phalin. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Martin (Alan), Tim Schmitz and Craig Schmitz; his grandchildren, Haley Schmitz (Zach Thuecks), Maddie Koenig (Sam), Elizabeth, Leah Martin, Kennedy and Riley Schmitz; his siblings, Shirley Ponschok and Neil Schmitz (Margaret); and his wife Helen Phalin. He is also survived by grandfather to his six beautiful granddaughters.
